Michele, our Owner and VP extraordinaire, is one of the very first people you’ll encounter here at Benchmark. From the initial conversations with clients, to learning about their visions, and ensuring that it's seen through, Michele loves nothing more than to work with clients throughout a project to see their vision come to life.

Michele has been instrumental in forming Benhcmark’s culture, from standards of workmanship to customer service, and everything in-between. Michele also oversees all things HR, and is most proud of who we have on the Benchmark team—not just their skill, not just the value they bring to the operation, but how they make the team feel like family.

Michele cherises a simple life, reminiscent of the small Ohio town she was raised in—which although hasn’t yet made it onto a map, has wide open spaces, friendly people, and fresh black raspberry ice cream you’ll never forget. It was also here that Michele fell in love with animals of every kind, especially goats and kitties, and to no surprise, now regularly volunteers at a local animal shelter to help vulnerable animals find loving homes.

Michele has a diverse corporate background in tech, healthcare, and event management, which has served her well since her transition to the home improvement space. Michele moved to the Bay Area in 2002, where she met the love of her life, Jason Bliss, and the rest is, as they say, history.
