Jason Bliss is Benchmark’s founder, owner, and President, and resident extrovert. He’s been building since he can remember, including military infrastructure when he served in the Marines, and built what is now Benchmark Home Construction during the economic downturn of 2008.

Needless to say, Jason doesn’t shy away from challenges, or any daunting circumstances you may anticipate facing in home remodeling. Instead, Jason has sought out to elevate the entire design-build experience into something seamless and enjoyable for the homeowner.

Jason likes to say that “My job is really to bring the service and quality element to luxury remodeling that doesn't currently exist.” An undeniable people-person, Jason naturally approaches home remodeling much differently than most, built on genuine connection, excellent communication, and constant integrity. For Jason, at the end of the day there’s really nothing like seeing the smile that beams across a happy client's face when their space is transformed.

You’d be hard pressed to find Jason still for very long, as he can often be spotted whipping up gourmet meals, embracing the outdoors camping, hunting, or racing, and developing meaningful relationships in the community. Jason has called the Bay Area home for more than 40 years, where he met and married his sweetheart, Michele Bliss. Jason and Michele live in Danville with their two kitties, Gigi and Trooper.
