HGTV's Brother vs. Brother- Season 6
Week 1 - Living Room
The stone fireplace and an entire wall have been removed, creating a larger and more open space that accesses the dining room and kitchen. New skylights and a large picture window bring plenty of natural light into the space.

The dated and ugly kitchen cabinets have been torn out, creating a more usable space to create an island and a huge walk-in pantry. Also, a home office space has been added for family storage and home or office work. The ceiling has been vaulted and a weather-sensitive skylight was added to bring light and fresh air into the space.

The Structural constraints prevented us from adding square footage to the bedroom suite, but the plan calls for making more efficient use of the existing space.
The remodeled master suite features a sliding custom barn door and wide plank flooring in a light finish that provides contrast with the vivid blue of the bathroom tile. The entire bathroom layout was modified to increase usable space and allow for a great design.
Week 4 - Bonus Spaces
Oddly enough, half of this “original” basement didn’t even exist prior to renovation. The original basement suite was old, dark and illegal — as it did not meet California residential building code.
After weeks of digging and building, the entirely new basement suite features a bedroom, living room, bathroom, kitchen and laundry area — making it full AND legal living space.
Week 5 - Guest Spaces
This home's 70's vibe just wasn't working for Drew and our team. Every bedroom and guest bathroom was completely gutted and rebuilt.
California Modern Rancher theme was prevalent throughout the home as well as bright-colored fixtures and finishes to punch through the clean white and wood finishes.
Week 6 - Exterior/Finale
The front exterior had a stone wall topped by wood siding and concrete steps that were worn and damaged.
The front gets a new and much sleeker look with gray stucco, new horizontal siding and raised beds with stone surround.
Watch how we had fun with Drew and the crew during the course of the project!
